Cincinnati πΊπΈ Hidden Gem Restaurant Recommendation
π Registon Restaurant You can actually sit on a traditional platform bed and enjoy Uzbek food right here in Cincinnati! What an unexpected surprise! ππ Tucked away in West Chester, this Uzbek restaurant is bursting with Central Asian charm. We ordered: Tuy Kebab (braised beef with tomatoes) Plov (pilaf) Kovurma Lagman (stir-fried hand-pulled noodles) Samsa (baked dumplings) A salad with horse meat sausage Every dish was incredibly authentic and generously portioned. The Tuy Kebab was richly flavored and so tender it practically melted in the mouth β truly impressive! The Kovurma Lagman was made with chewy hand-pulled noodles β super satisfying π. The salad (I think it was called Morkovcha) was really interesting β shredded veggies with mayo and two slices of horse meat sausage. Not weird at all, just uniquely delicious! The atmosphere was amazing too β sitting on the traditional platform bed with Uzbek music playing in the background felt like being transported straight to Central Asia. The owner was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Xinjiang-style cuisine! π Here are some Uzbek dish names translated: Samsa β #BakedBuns Shurpa β #LambSoup Manti β #ThinSkinnedDumplings Osh/Plov β #Pilaf Lagman β #HandPulledNoodles Kovurma Lagman β #StirFriedNoodles Chuchvara β #Dumplings (beef/lamb) Kebab β #GrilledMeat Tuy Kebab β #BraisedMeat π Address: 10173 McCauly Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45241 #Ohio #USA #HiddenGem #FoodieFind #UzbekFood #XinjiangCuisine #CincinnatiEats #ExploreCincinnati #FoodExplorer #InternationalFlavors #FoodDiary
