Cincinnati Burger Week has officially begun! First stop — Taste of Belgium, a local Belgian‑inspired boutique restaurant 🇧🇪. They used their signature Belgian waffle as the burger bun, layered with bacon and tomato jam, creating a notably sweet flavor profile. The waffle was soft rather than crisp, paired with a somewhat dry patty, sweet jam, and topped with rich bacon and cheese — a combination that felt heavy and didn’t quite hit the spot for us 😅🍯. While the creativity is impressive, the overall balance leaned too sweet and rich for our taste.
