We took Nugget to Hocking Hills and booked a Getaway cabin — each one is a cozy little box with everything you need inside! Outside, there are chairs, and in fall or winter, you can light a fire pit 🔥🍂. Dogs are welcome for an extra fee — they provide bowls, paw towels, and treats 🐕🧡. It’s about a 25-minute drive from Hocking Hills State Park. If you’re leaving from Cincinnati, you can start early, go hiking first, grab lunch, and arrive right around check-in time 🚗⛰️. Inside the cabin, there’s a guide with local recommendations. We took Nugget on a nearby trail and even found restaurant discounts provided just for guests! The small town near the cabins has an antique mall for treasure hunting and a cute coffee shop ☕🛍️. You can also visit Hocking Hills Winery — they have an adopted orange cat who naps in the grass 🍊🐱. We even bought a corgi backpack specially for Nugget’s adventure 🎒🐾!
