Cincinnati Food | Sago's Char Kway Teow 🍲✨

I was genuinely surprised to find authentic Char Kway Teow (stir-fried rice noodles) here in Cincinnati — and yes, they use real kway teow, not just regular rice noodles! The dish was packed with wok hei (breath of the wok) and tasted absolutely delicious. 😋🔥 We also tried their roast duck — tender and flavorful, though not the absolute standout of the meal. There was also a curry-based Hainanese chicken noodle soup (forgot the exact name, sorry! 😅). It had a rich Malaysian curry flavor, but the chicken was a bit on the dry side. The restaurant itself is quite cozy — a little tight on space — and service was a tad slow during our visit. But the food was solid enough that I’d definitely go back! If you're craving Southeast Asian flavors and especially if you miss authentic stir-fried kway teow, Sago is worth the visit. Just be prepared for a small dining area and maybe a relaxed pace of service. I’ll be returning to try more of their menu soon! 🙌 📍 Sago (Location added if known, or keep general) #Cincinnati #Ohio #Columbus #CincinnatiEats #CharKwayTeow #MalaysianFood #WokHei #FoodieFinds #NoodleLover 🥢🍜
