If you're looking for top-tier fine dining in Cincinnati, Carlos & Johnny’s—part of the Jeff Ruby group—is a must-visit! I’ve been sitting on this review for a while because, honestly, I couldn’t remember all the dishes we tried 😂, but the experience was unforgettable! First off—the service was exceptional! If you're celebrating a birthday or anniversary, they'll even take a photo for you. The staff member who shot ours had great skills too! 📸🎉 We started with warm butter bread and a hearty Italian meatball appetizer—so flavorful and well-made. Then came the Godfather sushi roll 🍣—not your traditional sushi, but with premium ingredients, it was absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed fresh sashimi and flame-seared oysters with spinach and cheese—creamy and rich! For the main, we had steak topped with crawfish sauce — so tasty! 😋 Funny story: they actually served the wrong cut of steak at first (we didn’t even notice—the two were that similar!), but they kindly packed up the one we originally ordered for us to take home. Now that’s service! 👍 Dessert was a treat—a seasonal melon ice cream that tasted incredibly fresh and real, plus a stunning rose-themed sweet with dry ice and an edible rose 🌹🍨—totally Instagram-worthy and delicious even when I was already stuffed! With drinks and tip, it came to around $100 per person. Highly recommended for celebrations!
