Cincinnati OH — A Guide to Avoiding the Pitfalls 😤
Just came back from a weekend trip to Cincinnati, and sadly, it was full of disappointments. Here’s my experience to help others avoid the same mistakes! 1️⃣ Seoul Korean BBQ & Hotpot – A pleasant surprise! 🍖 We chose the BBQ buffet option. Priced at around $30 per person + 18% tip + tax – fairly reasonable. However, light eaters might not get their money’s worth. They serve a huge portion of rice right at the start 🍚 – skip it if you want to enjoy more meat and sides. Everything else is served in small portions, but you’ll definitely leave full! 2️⃣ Grand Oriental Chinese (Dim Sum) Restaurant – 🚫 BIG letdown! I saw recommendations on calling it “the best Chinese restaurant in Cincinnati” – total misinformation. The food was terrible 😣. The xiaolongbao tasted like frozen store-bought ones, and everything else seemed pre-made or straight out of a package. $85 for me and my kid for what you see in pics 3 & 4. Lesson learned: many Chinese restaurants in the US are overpriced and underwhelming. Not worth it anymore. 3️⃣ Hyatt Place Cincinnati / Sharonville Convention Center – 🐞 Avoid at ALL costs! I was bitten by bed bugs – 19 huge bites! Found bugs on the sheets, and the manager refused to acknowledge it. Always take photos as evidence – I regret not doing so. $180/night ended up costing $360 for two nights of pure misery. I couldn’t sleep all weekend from the itching. Still recovering physically and emotionally 💔. Hope this helps someone avoid these awful experiences. Cincinnati, you broke my heart this time. 💔 #Cincinnati #TravelFail #FoodReview #BedBugAlert #AvoidThesePlaces #USTravel #ChineseFood #HotelHorror
