Cincinnati Weekend Trip โšฝ๏ธ๐ŸŒ†

I came to Cincinnati for the Club World Cup to support Borussia Dortmund ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’›. Stayed near Findlay Market, thinking it was a very safe area โ€” but reality was more complex. Just a block or two north, there were many homeless people. At midnight, police cars often patrol the area ๐Ÿšจ, and at 3 AM, I saw a young drug addict wandering near my building. He was tall and looked young, but drugs had clearly taken a toll โ€” he could barely walk. It was heartbreaking ๐Ÿ’”. Cincinnati is one of the epicenters of the opioid crisis in the U.S. This time, I didnโ€™t go downtown, but I noticed the cityโ€™s streetcar system ๐ŸšŠ โ€” clean, modern, and full of commuters. It felt very different from the chaotic vibe of Chicagoโ€™s L trains. Findlay Market reminded me of a much smaller St. Lawrence Market. Perfect for a morning coffee and a relaxed stroll โ˜•๏ธ. I also visited the University of Cincinnati ๐Ÿซ. Since it was summer break, the campus was quiet, but students were still playing football and soccer outside โ€” so much energy and youth! โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿˆ For dinner, I tried Sichuan Palace โ€” definitely above average for Midwestern Chinese food! Would recommend if youโ€™re craving some spice ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ. Hope to explore downtown and cross over to Kentucky next time! ๐Ÿคž #ClubWorldCup #Cincinnati #TravelDiary #UrbanExploration #FindlayMarket #OpioidCrisis #StreetcarCity #SichuanFood
