Clarinetto
Restaurant Name: Ristorante Pizzeria "Il Clarinetto" This Italian restaurant is near the hotel where I'm staying. No reservation is needed on weekdays. The service was excellent, and the owner is very charming (see the self-portrait in picture 8ā£ļø ā it's spot on, haha). He even gave us some complimentary bread and two glasses of champagne. The bread was a bit like tasteless pizza. The menu is available in both Italian and English, so no worries about language barriers. š Dishes: 1ā£ļø Seafood Pizza šÆ 15⬠A special recommendation on the menu, with plenty of seafood. However, you need to eat the seafood first, and by the time you get to the pizza, it feels a bit like eating a tomato-flavored flatbread. I noticed other couples ordering appetizers, a pizza each, and dessert, but I think one pizza between two people is enough ā it can be quite filling. 2ā£ļø Fried Potatoes š 4⬠Super hot and crispy, with tender potatoes inside. Highly recommended for potato lovers. 3ā£ļø Creamy Bacon Pasta š 8⬠The cheese flavor is quite strong and salty, making it a bit too rich. I had to drink water while eating it. 4ā£ļø Eggplant Parmigiana š³ 9.5⬠Quite good, a new way to enjoy eggplant with a light and delicate flavor. 5ā£ļø Tiramisu š° 5⬠The presentation is quite unique, and it tastes great. The alcohol flavor is not overpowering, and the texture is not soggy. š° Total for Two: 50⬠(including a 3⬠service charge, which amounted to 43.12GBP on the card) Overall, it was a good experience, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend making a special trip here. If you're not very hungry, choosing either the pizza or the pasta might be better, as the complimentary bread can be quite filling. š Address: V.le Spartaco Lavagnini, 40, 50129 Firenze FI #ItalyTravel #ItalianFood #FlorenceTravel #FlorenceCuisine
