Classic Philly Steakhouse — Butcher and Singer 🌹
This steakhouse is a Philly icon — known for high-quality steaks and an impressive wine list. The atmosphere is absolutely magical — stepping inside feels like entering the castle from Beauty and the Beast (and the name “Butcher & Singer” adds to the charming contrast). Warm, dim lighting paired with grand crystal chandeliers makes it perfect for dates or intimate gatherings with friends! Beyond the vibe, the food truly delivers — the steaks are incredibly flavorful! Here’s what we enjoyed: · 50 oz. Tomahawk Ribeye — Huge and thick! Packed with rich beef flavor (that’s the cover photo! 🥩). · 18 oz. Delmonico — Their signature steak 🥩 — perfect balance of marbling and meaty taste. My favorite! · Today’s Special Steak — Not sure of the cut 😅 but thinner than the others (still hearty!) and delicious. · Stuffed Hash Browns — Shredded potato wrapped around potato cubes — tasty but very filling. Skip if you’re a small group. · Crab Cake — Lots of crab meat, super fragrant, with a subtle oceanic note. · Butcher Salad — Large portion — one salad is enough for four. Tangy and appetite-whetting. · Complimentary Bread — So good! Crispy crust, cornbread-like inside, served with smooth, slightly sweet butter. We finished two baskets 😂. 🧁 Dessert Highlights: Their desserts are surprisingly delicious and generous! Must-try: BAKED ALASKA — toasted meringue + banana ice cream + apricots + sponge cake. Unbelievably good — I’d return just for this! 🤩 Lemon Icebox Pie — classic sweet-tart lemon pie. Could be a bit tangier for my taste, but still yummy. Huge slice — one is plenty. 💰 ~$100 per person 📍 Butcher and Singer 1500 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19102 #PhillyEats #Philly #PhillyLife #Steakhouse #DateNight #FineDining #PhillyFoodScene 🍷🔪
