Cologne: Chocolate Museum ๐ซ๐๏ธ
Fun, but not as fun as I imagined! ๐ It introduces the cultivation of chocolate ๐ฑ and the process of making chocolate. It's a real chocolate factory. This museum is in collaboration with Lindt Chocolate. As soon as you enter, you can get a piece of chocolate. Cocoa beans are mainly grown in Africa. Many families there are very poor, and growing cocoa is their main source of income, so they also need a lot of help. Cocoa is generally grown by families, and there are very few extremely large-scale cocoa plantations. Even though I went on a weekday, there were still many tourists. Upstairs, there's the history of chocolate, some containers, and posters, recreating the look of the last century. Chocolate was originally a drink for the medieval nobility and later became a very common food. I also saw a collection of Kinder Chocolate toys from the last century, with SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, and many more. #Chocolate #Europe #MyDiary #Inspiration #Cologne #CologneChocolateMuseum #Germany
