Cologne 🍫 Museum - Schokoladenmuseum

The Chocolate Museum offers a half-hour tasting session for just three euros in advance booking! It feels like great value, you can easily get your money's worth just by eating chocolate. The tasting takes place in a separate small room with about a dozen people. A friendly guide will start you off with roasted cocoa beans and explain the components of chocolate. (I personally find the cocoa beans incredibly fragrant) We tasted about five or six types of chocolate, including Lindt and other brands. Today, we had chili chocolate, not fully mixed, and normal milk chocolate, white chocolate, and finally, the strawberry popping candy white chocolate which was super delicious 🥺 I highly recommend the museum, it's suitable for all ages. The first floor is about chocolate making, and the second floor is about the history of chocolate. It can get a bit crowded and stuffy on weekends. However, there are many stalls selling chocolate in the exhibition halls, with plenty of free samples, so you can eat as you walk 😋 Highly recommended for chocolate lovers - you can even customize your own chocolate. I also saw chocolate-making classes, where a little girl was adding gummy bears to her chocolate mixture, it was so cute. #CologneMuseumRecommendation #Cologne #ChocolateMuseum #Germany
