Cologne Cathedral, Germany ⛪️
The Cologne Cathedral, which survived World War II intact, took over 600 years to complete and is definitely one of the must-see churches in Germany. This iconic landmark is right next to Cologne's train station. I found the same photo spot as Jay Chou and managed to take some pictures just as a light drizzle started. So, I decided to buy a ticket to the top for a panoramic view of Cologne. 🎟️ The ticket office is located on the lower level to the right of the cathedral, costing €6 per person. The cathedral has over 500 steps that spiral around the pillars, reaching a height of over 150 meters. It took about half an hour to climb to the top. 🏞️ From up high, you can overlook Cologne, with the Rhine River flowing from south to north, and the chain bridge (also known as the Lovers' Bridge because of the countless love locks hanging from it) connecting the city from east to west. The view of this relaxed city is simply breathtaking. 🌉 #TravelDiaries #CityPhotography #DayTrip #Scenery #CulturalAttractions #CapturingTheMoment #CologneCathedral #Cologne
