Cooking such delicious brunch, what are you trying to do?

My friend is heading to Florence, so I'm sharing my Florence brunch stash again. I've tried many brunch places in Florence, but Melaleuca is still my favorite. It takes "white people food" to the next level, balancing healthiness and deliciousness. It's even more comfortable than some of the Trattorias in town. The downside is that unless you go super early for breakfast, you'll almost always have to wait in line. Plus, one of the staff members can be quite rude, but I've endured it.😻😻😻 I highly recommend their textbook-level Benedict. It's super large and can be shared by two people. The crispy bacon is the star. I've had many soft and soggy bacons elsewhere, but Melaleuca consistently delivers thick, crispy, and fragrant bacon. The thin salt spinach, perfectly runny eggs, and toasted English muffins are also standard. The sourdough flavor is there, and the bread itself is delicious.💕💕💕 The Green Goddess might look like a vegetarian dish with its green color, but it's actually masking the fragrant pesto. The pesto is well-seasoned, with a citrusy aroma and a very fresh taste. It pairs perfectly with the equally fresh pomegranate, which can be quite intoxicating.❤️❤️❤️ I've written about the Apple Crumble Pancake separately before. I was so impressed the first time I tried it that I went back alone just to have it again. It's a giant portion, too much for one person. The cinnamon apple compote is very charming. In the summer, they might switch to a strawberry and pistachio version.😻😻😻 I ordered the Big Brekkie mainly for the hash browns and halloumi, but I forgot to add them. Fortunately, there was bacon. Their bread also has a good reputation. The cinnamon roll is famous, but I haven't tried it 😿. I once saw a raspberry-filled bread that looked delicious, but I missed out on that too. I've only had the pistachio babka. Among the drinks, the iced chai is too sweet. The coffee quality is inconsistent; it seems to randomly serve deep or light roasts. The first time I had it, I liked the taste, but later I encountered some very sour ones that I couldn't appreciate. But overall, I still highly recommend this place. I've eaten here so often it's almost like my cafeteria. You can enjoy the view of the Arno River, bask in the sun, and feel very healthy. It's also more palatable than some of the more local restaurants. #Florence #brunch
