I was looking for a cool place to have breakfast in Florence, and I was very disappointed with the options. I felt like most of the places were touristy and offered very average food. I had been to a few places in Los Angeles that were really cool and had great food, so I was hoping to find something similar in Florence.
On my last day in Florence, I came across this place and the food looked good, so I decided to give it a try. There was a wait, but I was glad I waited. This was by far the best breakfast I had in Italy. They brought flavor to the great food quality in Italy, which was a great combination.
We had the cappuccino, egg and bacon benedict, strawberry pistachio pancake, and the pistachio beraka. The food was beautifully prepared, and the taste was definitely up to par with the presentation. The pancake was the best I've ever had, and the benedict was also amazing. The beraka was great as well. They have been able to put a modern flavor twist to traditional food, and that's what I love and look for.
The service was very good, especially for Italian standards. The server was honest and said that the servings were large, so I ended up not ordering extra food, which I hate to do. The cappuccino was very good, and I personally like a fuller-body roast.
Overall, I was very impressed with this place. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast in Florence.

Read moreI knew this place was going to be good because of the two very long lines outside of this bakery when I arrived there. One line was to be seated, and the other long line was for take out orders only. I was only visiting Florence for a day, and I decided to grab a takeout treat for the road. Once I got inside of this bakery. My eyes locked in of the beautiful display of cinnamon rolls. These were the best-looking cinnamon rolls I have seen in a while. The smell alone intrigued me to want to raise up like an old school cartoon and be carried away by scent by my nose. They looked delicious, and I could not wait to try this cinnamon roll. So I ordered one for the bus trip and one to heat up when I got home.
I don't know what it is about Italy, but Italy has some of the freshest food you will ever eat. This cinnamon roll was so fresh and prepared to perfection. I took one bite and could not refrain myself from indulging in more than I wanted to eat. Needless to say, it was simply delicious and is well worth a trip to Florence Italy. The next day, I heated the second one up in the stove and ate it with a tall glass of cold milk, and it was just as good, if not better, the next day. If you are in Florence, Italy, go try this cinnamon roll. If cinnamon rolls are not your thing, then try one of their other many desserts. Or sit down and have their brunch or breakfast meals. You will not be...
Read moreThe ambiance was 10/10 very cute and sheek so I was impressed. We went on a Thursday morning and did not realize that the menu was a little bit more limited than the weekend menu which may be my fault for not checking, nonetheless I give this place a 3 stars.
The chai and matcha that we ordered was completely watered down like tasted straight water. I went to another cafe (shake cafe) and the chai was 10x better so I can’t blame that Italy may just not make the American way of Chai, it was just this cafe. Breakfast food was okay, ordered the avocado bagel and chilli eggs (which was really covered in all chilli oil which I wasn’t a fan). Plus it only had one egg on top of the focaccia bread which I really was just trying to come for a good hearty eggs/bacon hash browns kind of meal. The avocado bagel was good though so if you were to pick on the menu I would stick with that.
Croissants were good!! I would recommend probably the freshest and flakiest croissant we have had in Europe so I guess I can see why this place may get above a 4 star review. Maybe if I didn’t get the breakfast food or the lattes I would rank this as a 4 or 5 with my croissant.
Service was good. The girls...
