Cozy French Restaurant at West End Corner - Truly Delicious! 😋

🍽️ Ma Maison 📍 272 Cambridge St, Boston, MA 02114 🗂️ French Cuisine 🌟🌟🌟🌟 ✍🏻 Just sat down and noticed the next table were French people - instantly knew it was authentic (just kidding 😂). Recommend making reservations in advance - even at 6:30 PM on a weekday, the place was fully packed. Heard their soufflé is amazing, but we were too full this time - definitely trying it next visit! ✅ Duck Magret a l’Orange The duck breast was fragrant, tender and juicy! Rich in fat but not overly greasy. The blood orange pairing was delicious - sweet and refreshing, creating wonderful layered flavors. The sides rotate regularly but usually include fruits for freshness. Personally loved it! ✅ Bouillabaisse (Recent Monday special) Tomato-based broth with perfect consistency. Shrimp, shellfish, and fish were all fresh and tender. ✅ Frogs Legs Provençales First time trying frog legs in French cuisine! The meat was springy, though relatively mild in flavor. Paired with tomato-based sauce. Still prefer Chinese dry pot frog legs, but this was worth trying for its different style! ✅ Six Burgundy Escargots My must-order in French restaurants! Reliably good - large snails with garlic butter sauce that's perfect with bread. ⭕️ French Onion Soup Not personally a fan because the baguette gets too soggy in the soup. But had to try due to its "Best Of Boston" reputation. The baked cheese on top was fragrant, onions were plentiful, and the broth was sweet. Still not for me though - those who like this dish should give it a try! ✅ Complimentary Bread Classic baguette - fragrant and perfect with butter or dipping in sauces. #FrenchCuisine #DuckBreast #Seafood #FrogLegs #Escargot #BostonLife #BostonFoodExploration #Gourmet #LifeInNorthAmerica #LifeInUSA
