Crab Catching • Phở • Eel Noodles • Deep-Fried Skewers 🦀🍜🍢
Seattle’s rainy season is sprinkled with some truly lovely days (hello, sunshine! ☀️). Come the weekend, it’s time to find something fun to do. Lately, our family’s go-to weekend activity has been crabbing! 🦀 Crabbing Tips: First, grab a crab license from Fred Meyer 🛒, then order a crab trap on Amazon 📦. Our favorite spot is Golden Gardens Park 🏞️. This pier has more Red Rock Crabs and fewer Dungeness crabs. It’s peak crab season right now — the bigger, the tastier! Crabs just meeting the size limit aren’t as flavorful; go for ones at least 1 inch larger. You’re allowed 6 of each type (Dungeness and Red Rock), but remember — no female Dungeness crabs allowed! 🚫♀️ 🍔 Recent Delicious Finds: Red Mill Burger 🍔: Fried mushrooms & grilled chicken sandwich Yan Tea 🍵: Persimmon series drinks Kajiken 🍜: Winter special eel noodles Phở Shop ☕: Corn latte & black sesame latte Shaoshan Cuisine 🐟: Stinky mandarin fish Jie Bakery 🥧: Pork floss cakes Gutian Fried Skewers 🍢: Fried chicken cutlet, rice cakes, fish balls Homemade goodies 🥟: Veggie pancakes & steamed clam egg Dolar Shop 🍲: Happy hour & ice jelly dessert Vancouver special 🥐: Matcha croissant brought by a friend! #SeattleLife #SeattleWeekend #Seattle #SeattleEats #SeafoodLovers #FoodieAdventures #RainyDayFun #PlogDiaries #SeattleExploration #StudyAbroadLife
