Czech Traditional Dishes

A Favorite Czech Rib Restaurant I often visit this Czech rib restaurant, located by the Danube River side of Eurovea. It’s essentially our go-to spot for group meals. However, this time, we sat under their green lighting. The food was great, but the photos didn’t turn out well.😂😂😂 Their roast duck is a Czech specialty, priced at 16 euros for half a duck. It’s roasted to perfection, not too fatty, and seasoned with local spices. The crispy skin is oil-infused, and the meat is tender, not dry. It also comes with a side of sauerkraut and local bread slices, making it the most cost-effective dish in my opinion.😊😊😊 The ribs are their signature dish, also at 16 euros. The portion is larger than at other places, and they taste great, highly recommended. This time, we also ordered a whole roast chicken for 13.69 euros. The chicken is slightly less flavorful than the duck but is very tender. It comes with potatoes and salad, which is a nice combination.😁😁😁 The pan-fried salmon was a bit underwhelming. The fish was cooked to the point where it fell apart easily. It seems that local Slovak restaurants could improve both their seafood offerings and variety. The price, however, is reasonable at 16 euros. Overall, their dishes are quite unique. Roast duck and whole roast chicken aren’t commonly seen in other restaurants. The prices are relatively affordable. The location, next to the mall and by the Danube, is very convenient. However, the restaurant is very popular, so reservations are a must. **Restaurant:** Kolkovna **Address:** Pribinova 8, 811 09 Bratislava #EuropeanTravel #Slovakia #Bratislava #BratislavaTravel
