D'CARAMEL PATISSERIE in Dallas
š„I visited this patisserie in the South Lake area again. To my surprise, even on a weekday at noon, there was a line, and many people were buying to-go. I guess itās because the store closes early in the afternoon, so people take advantage of their lunch break to grab something to bring home. ā¤ļøThe desserts here are truly visually stunning and incredibly well-made. The breads are also beautifully crafted. This time, my friend and I shared the desserts pictured, and with two cups of coffee, we were quite full. ā¤ļøThe store itself isnāt very large, with only about five tables inside. Most people seem to prefer taking their purchases to-go. This time, I tried a few items I hadnāt had before, like the tiramisu. The coffee bean-shaped tiramisu is really cute, and I liked it a lotāthe flavor inside is quite good. šAnother one that looks like a North African egg was less impressive. Itās not bad, but Iām not a fan of white chocolate, so I was a bit indifferent to it. Itās mainly fruity in taste. The coconut-shaped one is my second time trying it. It has a chocolate exterior and passion fruit inside. I think itās quite delicious, but it can be a bit too sweet if you eat the whole thing by yourself. So, itās best enjoyed with coffee. š¶ļøThe two bread items had a strong hazelnut flavor, but overall, I found them a bit greasy. I prefer more traditional croissants. Overall, since these are desserts, they are definitely sweet. However, the store does a good job of balancing sweetness within each item. Some parts are sweeter, while others are milder. With coffee, itās quite acceptable. Each piece is small enough to give a sense of fullness without being overwhelming. The sweetness level is manageable. #DallasLife #DallasEats #Food #DallasFood #PastryBaking #DallasDesserts #FrenchDesserts
