Daikaku-ji Temple
Daikaku-ji Temple: To make the most of the ticket to Daikaku-ji, I decided to walk there—Daikaku-ji is at the other end of the Arashiyama scenic area, and the nearly 2-kilometer path in between feels like a countryside trail. 🌟🌸 Daikaku-ji is the final stop on bus route 28, and its remote location means it's not as convenient to visit as other attractions. However, Daikaku-ji is actually a fairly large temple complex, with several interconnected temples. 🌟🌸 The backyard is quiet and beautifully landscaped with greenery. 🍃🌺The front yard features tall pine trees that exude a sense of solemnity. Visitors need to remove their shoes before entering the temple rooms, which house Buddha statues and scriptures. 🌟🌸 There is also a lake next to the temple, which requires a separate fee. The view of the clear lake from the temple is quite picturesque. 🌿 🍃🌺 #Kyoto 🌿
