Kamo River

Starting near Sanjo and walking upstream along the Kamogawa River, you'll see many people walking their dogs, cycling, bird-watching, and just sitting around. ๐ŸŽข๐ŸŒŸ You'll eventually reach the classic stone path, where you can't help but imitate a scene from a Japanese drama you once saw, walking back and forth on the stone bridge a couple of times. ๐ŸŒบYou might even spot someone with a very cute little dog playing in the water, chasing floating weeds with its mouth. ๐Ÿถ On the map, the Kamogawa River runs through Kyoto. ๐ŸŽข๐ŸŒŸ We stayed near the downstream area of the river, and in the morning, we saw adults teaching their kids how to fish with lures. ๐ŸŽฃ You can also see birds walking around in the river, foraging for food. It feels like everyone is minding their own business while the river just flows quietly by. ๐ŸŒบOverall, the relaxing and laid-back feeling by the Kamogawa River is truly healing. ๐Ÿ˜Œ However, it's best to visit on a nice day; if the weather is bad, the experience might not be as good. (This probably applies to most tourist spots, haha.) ๐ŸŽข๐ŸŒŸ #KyotoTravel #KamogawaRiver #TravelDiary ๐ŸŒบ
