Daily Life | Seeking the Colors of Autumn in LA at the End of November
Taking advantage of the long Thanksgiving weekend, I went to Oak Glen to embrace the autumn π. The weekend was perfect for this kind of spontaneous day trip, to break away from the monotonous routine. The apple-picking season had ended, but I still got to enjoy delicious apple donuts/apple pies/cider/hard cider. The whole day was all about the apple theme. There were quite a few people in the town, but as I walked along the hiking trail into the woods, the whole world quieted down, with only the satisfying rustle of leaves underfoot. Sitting on a bench by a small pond, the only sounds were the occasional leaves slowly falling to the ground, which was very calming. I saw the masterpiece of a woodpecker: the tree trunk was covered with numerous small holes stuffed with acorns. I wore green and brown ππ€ very autumnal colors. While taking photos, my friend Xiao Luo said, βYou completely blend in with the background.β Me: βThatβs the effect Iβm going for.β πΌ #AutumnAdventure #OOTD #OakGlen #LosAngelesDayTrip #EmbracingAutumn #AutumnColors #ReformationSweater #GreenAndBrownColors #AutumnColorOutfit
