Dallas: Hatsuyuki Frisco

I've always wanted to visit FW, but it's too far away. Now that Hatsuyuki is just a 5-minute drive from home, I had to go. Top 3️⃣ recommendations: ⭐⭐ Nodoguro: Ever since I first tried nodoguro at Sukiyaki House in Pasadena, I've been craving it. Hatsuyuki's version didn't disappoint. ⭐⭐ Hokkaido Scallop: The freshness and sweetness are simply amazing. ⭐⭐ SP Uni: There were three types of uni today—Japanese, SP, and Daigokujo—with prices going up accordingly. I personally found the SP uni to be the creamiest and sweetest. The chef mentioned that Daigokujo should be even creamier, but it had a stronger sea flavor today, so I was perfectly satisfied with the SP. I also tried some Kanpachi and Otoro, which were decent but not particularly outstanding. My family member ordered a Spicy Tuna hand roll, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. I had initially wanted to try the Yume Handroll recommended by Anthony (he's very good at making recommendations and patiently introduced the menu to us, accurately capturing our preferences). After eating 12 pieces, I was about 80% satisfied, and the value for money was great. Definitely worth a return visit! #frisco #dallas
