Dallas: Wicked Snow

🥪Wicked Snow 2625 Old Denton Rd Ste 546, Carrollton, TX 75007 This Korean shaved ice shop has become one of my recent favorites. I’ve tried three flavors so far, and my top picks are the mango-strawberry combo and the coffee flavor. The mango-strawberry option comes with jam/syrup layered in the middle of the shaved ice. 🔆The coffee flavor is topped with brownie bits and has almond and walnut pieces mixed in, adding a nice, crunchy texture. The plain milk ice is served with red beans and a few pieces of rice cake, which is a good choice for those who prefer a lighter, bean-focused treat. I recently tried the chocolate flavor, which had an Oreo and chocolate brownie as toppings. The ice itself had a rich chocolate flavor, which I really enjoyed. However, the Oreo crumbs in the middle disrupted the otherwise smooth texture of the ice and made it feel a bit too filling. Next time, I might ask the staff to skip the Oreo crumbs. 🤤Cho Dang Village 2625 Old Denton Rd #404, Carrollton, TX 75007 I visited this place based on recommendations from Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), but it was just average. The beef and seafood bibimbap were both quite bland and ordinary. The beef short rib was lightly seasoned and not as tender as what I usually get from my regular spots. The price wasn’t particularly better either. It felt like a typical, home-style restaurant without any standout features. #DallasLife #DallasFood
