Dallas & Fort Worth Travel Guide
📍 Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District 2501 Rodeo Plaza, Fort Worth, TX 76164 🌟Fort Worth is most famous for this cowboy town! It's steeped in cowboy culture and worth spending 2-3 hours exploring. Here are some recommended activities: Cattle Drive: There's a special longhorn cattle drive at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. every day. A must-see! Comedy Gun Show: I missed this performance, so I can't comment much on it. 🍃Petting Zoo: At the far end of the town, there's a small "petting zoo" where you can feed sheep🐏. It costs $5 for admission and $3 for feed. You can buy as much feed as you want, but they seem to only accept cash. 🔥Stockyards Championship Rodeo: Don't miss the local rodeo. It only happens on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m., with adult tickets ranging from $79 to $169. The cowboy town is truly unique, but it's also very crowded. For parking, try to park farther away; otherwise, it can be really difficult to get in and out (don't ask me how I know). For dinner, I went back to Dallas and chose Mesero, a well-known local Tex-Mex restaurant. The Oaxaqueñas Enchiladas are worth trying. This dish is made with black rice, which has a subtle chocolate flavor in addition to the rice aroma. It's quite unique. #Dallas #FortWorth #Texas #TexasTravel #CowboyTown
