Dallas | Catching the Tail End of the Titanic Exhibition

🚢Who hasn't yet joined the Titanic exhibition craze? It's me! It's me! I finally went to see the exhibition with a friend this week (heard it's been extended to September). The staff gives everyone a boarding pass with the name of a passenger who was on the ship back then. At the end of the exhibition, there's a wall that records all the survivors and victims. The name on my ticket was that of a first-class survivor. ✨The exhibition starts with a brief introductory film about the Titanic, followed by various exhibition halls showcasing the ship's structure, cabins, decorations, tableware, introductions to passengers, and their relics, as well as the process from its discovery to hitting the iceberg. There's even a specially made iceberg for people to touch and feel the temperature of the seawater when the passengers perished. I touched it for just two seconds and my hand turned cold. I can't imagine how the victims back then desperately waited for death in the -2°C seawater. The venue's lighting is also dim, and the air conditioning is quite cold, so remember to bring an extra layer of clothing. ❤️This exhibition is much better than the Van Gogh immersive exhibition a few years ago. It's worth seeing if you haven't been before. For lunch, we tried the newly opened Koolala, to warm ourselves up a bit. The taste is okay, but it's a bit salty/has a lot of MSG. Friends who don't like spicy hot pot with sesame paste can give it a try. #DallasWeekend #DallasLife #DallasSurroundings
