DALLAS | CHECKING IN AT MALAI ✅

🥘I am truly obsessed with Thai cuisine—spicy, sour, sweet, and so refreshing and appetizing! Finally, I got to try a place called Malai. This time, I didn't order the traditional curry: 1️⃣ I initially wanted to try the Lamb Shank Massaman Curry, but the waitress recommended the seasonal feature, which also had lamb. I decided to give it a shot. It was four grilled lamb chops, served with Chimichurri and some other sauce. The lamb was cooked to medium, very tender and juicy. Except for one that was a bit overcooked, the other three were excellent. Definitely a thumbs-up! 2️⃣ Bangkok Street Rice. You can never go wrong with Pad Kra Pao rice. It was very appetizing and filling. Another thumbs-up! 3️⃣ An appetizer, shrimp chips with curry dip. I forgot the English name, but the curry was very fragrant, although a bit dry. It tasted better when mixed with rice or noodles. 4️⃣ Kids Butter Noodles. This was for my child. It was basically butter-fried pho with a little bit of chicken. I found it a bit greasy, but since my child enjoyed it, I'll give it a thumbs-up too. 5️⃣ Basic Thai tea. I always order this at Thai restaurants. This one was not too sweet and had a slight hint of bitterness, but it was refreshing and guilt-free. The dining environment was great. We were seated at a corner table with a nice view outside. The restaurant was busy, but the dishes arrived quickly. I'll definitely be back! Next time, I'll try some of the other soups and colorful curries—yellow, green, and more. 😋 #DallasFoodie #DallasRestaurantReview #ThaiCuisine #VietnameseCuisine #PadKraPaoRice #WhatToEatForDinner
