Ichigoh Ramen Lounge: 2724 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75226 After searching high and low, I finally found my favorite yuzu chicken broth ramen ☺️. A Japanese colleague from my previous company came to Dallas on a business trip, and his Japanese friend recommended this place as his favorite ramen spot 🍜. The entire staff, from the servers to the kitchen crew, are Japanese. The other day, I went there with a friend and ordered the beef tongue. The slices were perfectly cut, and the simple seasoning made it taste great 😋. I also got the Pork Chashu Don, and the quality of the char siu was excellent and very tasty ☺️. 🍜The most impressive dish was the yuzu chicken broth ramen. I was already amazed by it when I had it in Japan, and later, I only found it again at the Afuri chain in Portland. The Yuzu Shio features a rich chicken broth paired with the refreshing aroma of yuzu, which is a great combination. The only downside is that this ramen comes with chicken breast, but you can choose to replace it with roast pork. My friend ordered the traditional Shoyu ramen, and here, all the broths are based on chicken broth. This place is located in Deep Ellum, and it’s easy to miss when you walk by. However, I’ve included a photo of the storefront, which has a large mural. The restaurant has been awarded the "Most Popular Ramen Shop" by D Magazine.
