Dallas | Restaurant Review | Hard Eight

🌟Today, I finally visited the Texas BBQ place near my home. Every time I passed by, I could see the smoke and smell the barbecue, but I’ve never really been into Texas BBQ, so I’ve never tried it. Today, on a whim, I decided to give it a go. ‼️We arrived pretty early, around 6:30 in the evening. There weren’t many people, but a few were already in line to order their food. Once inside, you join the queue to choose your meats. Everything is paid for by weight. You tell them how much you want, and they’ll cut it for you. Then, someone nearby will weigh it and give you a price tag. After that, you choose your sides and, finally, tell the cashier what drink you’d like. Once you’ve paid, you can find a seat. There’s a drink station near the cashier, and they offer free baked beans, which have a slight spiciness. 🤠I ordered a quarter pound of brisket, which was delicious—full of flavor, juicy, and tender. I also got shrimp wrapped in bacon. The onions were very thin and slightly charred. I had corn as well, which was in season and incredibly sweet and juicy. Overall, it’s a pretty good Texas BBQ place. Texas BBQ can be hit or miss, so it’s best to go around mealtime when the meats are less likely to be dry and tough. #RestaurantReview #Dallas #WeekendAdventures #DallasEats #DallasLife #DallasRestaurants
