Dallas | Tei Tei Robata Bar is a Must-Try 👌
📍 2906 N Henderson Ave, Lower Greenville Hello everyone, I'm a Dallas food blogger today~ Today I visited Tei Tei Robata Bar, a Japanese restaurant specializing in robata-style grilling. We sat at the bar, where a row of ice blocks 🧊 displayed a variety of fresh seafood, including a glass jar filled with live, crawling crabs 🦀. Behind the bar was a square grill, and the grill master would occasionally grab fresh seafood from the ice right in front of us. We watched as the once-full crab jar gradually emptied over the course of the evening... The menu changes daily. Here's what we ordered today: 1️⃣ Sushi Sampler: Included akami (tuna), yellowtail, snapper, scallop, and mackerel. Perhaps because these are common fish, I found it just okay. 2️⃣ Hokkaido Uni (Sea Urchin): The distinct, fresh, and slightly pungent taste of uni was really great! 3️⃣ Miso-Grilled Sea Bass: I felt the miso marinade might not have been strong enough, so the flavor was a bit light and just average. 4️⃣ Yuzu-Flavored Grilled Pork Cheek: The crispy parts were quite good, and my husband really enjoyed them. 5️⃣ Beef Curry Rice: The curry sauce wasn't very thick, but the flavor was strong, and the beef was tender and delicious. It was very satisfying with the rice. #100RestaurantsChallenge #JapaneseCuisine #RestaurantReview #LifeInNorthAmerica #Dallas #FoodAndFun
