Dallas → OKC → Kansas City | 4 Days & 3 Nights EP3

💭 A Day Full of Surprises in Kansas City! We spent the whole day exploring Kansas City — a city that’s as intriguing as it is charming! Did you know? It straddles two states (Missouri & Kansas), with most attractions, including downtown, on the Missouri side. It’s like a smaller, cozier version of Los Angeles — hilly, artsy, and full of character ✨. 🌟 Highlights of the Day 🖼️ Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art A true hidden gem! Features original works by Monet, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Cézanne. Don’t miss: The stunning Water-Moon Guanyin statue with its majestic mural backdrop Stone carvings from the Northern Wei Dynasty & Ming-Qing furniture The giant shuttlecock sculptures on the lawn — perfect for photos & dog walks! 🏸📸 Spent a relaxed 2-3 hours here — just right! 🌹 Kauffman Memorial Garden A breathtaking rose garden in full bloom! 🌹 Surrounded by irises and tall shady trees — felt like an elegant, old-money neighborhood in LA. So peaceful, you’ll find yourself breathing deeper here. 🍖 Dinner at Jack Stack Barbecue A KC classic! Loved the beef ribs and savory baked beans — hearty, smoky, and deeply satisfying! 📚 Kansas City Public Library The exterior is designed like a giant bookshelf — straight out of Harry Potter! 🧙‍♂️ A quick but unforgettable photo stop. 🎶 Missed but Not Forgotten: Green Lady Lounge (jazz club) Toy & Miniature Museum Next time, KC, next time! Day 4 was all about the journey back — a sweet and satisfying wrap to our trip. #KansasCity #NelsonAtkinsMuseum #KCGarden #BBQTime #RoadTripDiaries #ExploreKC #ArtAndCulture #HiddenGems
