Dallas 2-Day Itinerary
Day 1️⃣: The Dallas World Aquarium & Zoo The Dallas World Aquarium & Zoo: Located right in Downtown Dallas, this attraction is worth a visit. Parking costs $10 and is available for the entire day. The admission ticket is $32.45 (tax included). The aquarium spans three floors and can be explored in about 1.5 to 2 hours. It features a variety of African birds, sloths🦥, penguins🐧, manatees (sea cows), large alligators🐊, and flamingos🦩. It’s definitely worth the time! 💜Lunch at Terry Black’s Barbeque: After visiting the aquarium, drive about 10 minutes to Terry Black’s Barbeque for some authentic Texas barbecue. There’s usually a line, but it moves quickly. We ordered pork ribs, which are priced by weight. The cost was $33 for two people, and it was very filling. The ribs were delicious but a bit salty. Asian Art Museum: Next, head to the nearby Asian Art Museum (free admission). Note that only the Japanese gallery is open. Japanese art can be quite abstract, and it might not appeal to everyone. We spent about 30 minutes there. 🫘Thanksgiving Square: Walk 17 minutes to Thanksgiving Square for a city walk. Climb the spiral white tower to visit a small chapel. Spend about 5 minutes taking photos of the rooftop. Then head to the Dallas landmark, the Giant Eyeball, for some fun photos. 🥥Dallas Museum of Art: Finally, visit the Dallas Museum of Art, which is my favorite. It’s free and features a vast collection of artifacts from Europe, Africa, ancient Egypt, India, and Indonesia. It’s definitely worth a visit! Dinner at “Feng Shui”: For dinner, we went to “Feng Shui,” a Japanese-Thai restaurant. The prices were quite high, and I wouldn’t highly recommend it. Day 2️⃣: North Park Center North Park Center: This is a huge shopping mall featuring Nordstrom, Macy’s, Eataly, and many other stores. Parking is free, and we spent 4 hours there, which still wasn’t enough time to explore everything. #Dallas #Aquarium #Eataly #Macy’s #Manatee #NordstromShopping #USA
