Dallas Airport Must-See | Ultimate Lounge Guide

Having lived in the U.S. for nine years, my first stop was DFW, and I’ve been based in Dallas for many years since. This morning, I visited three lounges before my flight and still had time before boarding, so I decided to write a home-turf guide for my fellow travelers! 🛫 🏟 Which DFW Terminals Are Worth Visiting? Most lounges are located in Terminal D. Although many domestic flights don’t depart from D, the Skylink train is super efficient. As long as you plan your time wisely, hopping over to the lounges is totally doable! ⭐ DFW’s Current Top Lounge: Capital One Lounge Though its quality has dipped slightly recently and queues are common, it’s still the best at DFW. 🍽 Must-Try Foods: Kolache, croissants, scrambled eggs, curry chicken rice, and Wedding Soup. I noticed they’ve updated their winter menu—the mini cakes give off a Roadhouse vibe! 🍸 Drinks: Cocktails are limited to one per order, but they’re visually appealing and delicious. During certain hours, free champagne and tea snacks are available. 🥡 To-Go Option: Grab sandwiches, desserts, and water on your way out—a clear advantage when you’re in a hurry! 🛫 AA Lounges: Flagship & Admirals Club DFW is AA’s hub, and I frequently visit these two in Terminal D. ✨ Flagship Lounge Accessible for international flights, business class, or Platinum Pro status and above. They offer ramen, sushi, and sashimi—the taste is average, but it’s great for photos, and the meat dishes are quite hearty. 🥑 Admirals Club Accessible for international flights, business class, or certain elite status holders. The food is simple, but the freshly made Avocado Toast is surprisingly delicious! 💳 Amex Centurion Lounge Overall, it’s slightly better than Plaza Premium or Priority Pass lounges (which I’ll skip since there’s not much to write about). Pros: Plenty of food and drinks; the guest policy update has made it less crowded. Cons: The quality is just okay—I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit. For Long Layovers 😴 Minute Suites (Terminal D): The facilities are basic, but it’s decent for a quick rest. 🎮 Gameway (Terminal E): A great environment where you can play games. Priority Pass members get free snacks and drinks—a fun way to kill time during a layover! 🔮 Looking Forward to Next Year’s Sapphire Lounge I’m curious to see if it can outshine Capital One. Based on my experience with Sapphire Lounges at other airports, they’re just as good as C1. With C1’s new policies making access harder, I’m hoping Sapphire becomes my new go-to spot! Wishing everyone safe travels and happy points/miles hunting! ✈️ #NorthAmericanLife #AirportLounge #CreditCards #Dallas #TravelInTheUS
