Dallas Anatole – A Hilton Steeped in Eastern Influence 🏮✨
To make use of the $200 semi-annual Hilton resort credit from my Amex Hilton Aspire card (yes, I know some use the Vegas Flamingo refund trick — but I actually wanted to stay 😂), I booked a night at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. This also lined up perfectly after experiencing JAL’s new A350 business class from Haneda to DFW. The nightly rate was around $200, and after tax and the $200 credit, I ended up paying just a few dozen dollars — not bad at all! 🏨 First Impressions – Size & Style Reportedly the largest hotel in Texas by area, the Anatole’s scale is impressive. But what truly caught me off guard was its extensive use of Eastern motifs. Throughout the property, you’ll find Buddha statues, antique pieces, calligraphy, painted screens, and even portraits of historical figures (which I didn’t photograph). It’s a visual journey — almost like a museum within a hotel. 💪 Fitness & Facilities The hotel’s gym is actually part of an adjacent health club, which includes: A full range of weightlifting and cardio equipment A regulation-sized basketball court 🏀 A large indoor swimming pool For fitness lovers, this is a major plus. 🛎️ Service & Check-In I arrived at 9 AM, and the front desk agent — noticing my Diamond status and room availability — let me check in right away. That meant I got to enjoy the room for almost an entire extra day 😎. The room itself was a standard base category (can’t complain!), but the bed and bedding were super comfortable. ✅ Final Takeaway A unique, culturally rich, and value-packed stay — especially when paired with the Amex Hilton resort credit. I’m already planning to return later this year! 🎎 Where Texas scale meets Eastern elegance ⭐ Rating: 8.5/10 – for style, space, and Diamond-friendly service #HiltonAnatole #DallasHilton #AmexHiltonAspire #ResortCredit #EasternInspired #FitnessTravel
