My friends and I recently visited Babou’s, a speakeasy located at the back of the Hotel Swexan. Upon entering, you're greeted by a two-story vintage library setup in the outer hall, which feels more like a cocktail lounge atmosphere, complete with an exquisite spiral staircase (although it was roped off and we couldn't go up). The bar is situated in the inner hall, where the music 🔊 is quite loud, and the atmosphere on Friday nights is more like a lively club, playing EDM-style dance tracks. Every Thursday is their Jazz night, which might better match the ambiance. 🍸 At the time, there was no menu available at the bar. You can order classic cocktails like an old fashioned, or you can choose based on your flavor preferences and base spirit, which the bartender will mix for you. If you need to drive and want to stay sober, you can order a mocktail without alcohol. 💰 According to the bill, the price of a cocktail is generally in the range of $20-$30. Many of the low ratings on Google Maps are due to the lack of price transparency.
