Dallas Bishop: A Super Chill City Walk Guide

The Bishop Arts District is truly a hidden gem in Dallas! It’s always fresh and exciting to visit. 🫶🏻 This time, I finally had the chance to take a leisurely walk around, and with the great weather, I’m here to share a super chill half-day itinerary. Paradiso for Brunch Start your day at the iconic Paradiso, a longtime Dallas favorite. The vibe here is definitely more impressive than the food. Every corner of the restaurant is a perfect photo spot—Italian food that’s decent but nothing extraordinary. In May, the weather is just right—neither too hot nor too cold—so sitting on the patio for lunch is pure bliss. 😌 If you go before 12 p.m. on a weekday, you won’t have to wait in line, and you can choose between the patio or indoor seating (though it gets busier later). You can also book a table on Resy if you prefer. [Walking Around] After your meal, take a stroll around the neighborhood. Bishop Arts District isn’t very large, and most of the shops are concentrated on N Bishop Ave. The stores have a similar style (think Anthropologie vibes 🤣). I highly recommend checking out the candle store, SOCIETY by JACKSON VAUGHN, and its neighbor, The Bishop Arts District, which has those trendy hot air balloons. 😍 There are also bookstores, record shops, and graffiti walls—perfect for photos and a fun shopping experience. 🎑[Sweet Treats] Before you leave, stop by Botolino for some gelato. I recommend the guava sorbetto and white coffee. I initially wanted to try the mascarpone figs, but after a spoonful of the sample, I found it too sweet and decided to pass. Instead, I took out a pistachio cake. The rose flavor was quite strong, mixed with salty pistachio bits (very reminiscent of Middle Eastern desserts). The combination of sweet and savory wasn’t really my thing, but it’s worth a try if you’re into that kind of flavor. #Dallas #DallasLife #DallasFoodie #DallasEats #DallasAdventures
