Dallas Day Trip | Horseback Riding Is So Much Fun!
On a sudden whim, I decided I wanted to go horseback riding. Since it felt great, I immediately got in touch and made a reservation. You can book via phone or text, and the instructor will tell you what to keep in mind. They’ll also ask for your height and weight to prepare the right saddle in advance. There were four of us, plus the instructor, making it a group of five. We rode through a forest trail, and the whole experience was amazing. The horses would occasionally stop to graze, which was hilarious 😂. The instructor stopped at one spot to take a group photo, even though it turned out pretty average, haha. The ride lasted for an hour, and the price was just $60 per rider, which is really affordable. Some places charge over $100 and are hard to book. The more expensive options usually offer more exciting routes, like crossing rivers. I’ll definitely try those next time! 📍 Agave Hurricane Trail Company 1 Equestrian Dr, Roanoke, TX 76262 This is the address, but for detailed directions, follow the instructor’s written instructions to avoid getting lost. Google Maps might lead you astray on some parts of the route. 🔔 Tips: Wear long pants and, if you don’t mind the heat, a light long-sleeve shirt to protect your skin from branches. Sometimes the trail gets a bit narrow with low-hanging branches. Wear a helmet 🪖 even though it might not be the most stylish accessory. Safety first! ⭐️ After the ride, you can visit a charming, fairytale-like café and a fantastic pizza place nearby (just a minute apart) within a 30-minute drive from the riding location. #DallasLife #HorsebackRiding #AroundDallas #DallasAttractions #DallasExplore #DallasHorsebackRiding
