Dallas Day Trip đ
Our first stop was the đFossil Rim Wildlife Center, a drive-thru wildlife park. There are two ticket options: you can either drive your own car or take the parkâs tour bus. We chose to drive our own vehicle, and I highly recommend a car with a sunroof! Giraffes will actually stick their heads into your car looking for food, which can be quite startling but also incredibly fun and exciting. đ„We arrived around 10 a.m. on a weekday, and there were hardly any other visitors, so we had plenty of opportunities to interact with the animals. The adult ticket was $30, and the kidâs ticket was $25. Itâs a bit pricey, but totally worth it! It took about half an hour to drive to the giraffe area, where only one or two giraffes were by the road; the others were busy eating their own feed. There are also big-game animals like leopards and rhinos, but they were all sleeping and behind double fences when we visited, so there wasnât much activity. âFor lunch, we went to đPho Real Fort Worth. The service and food were pretty average. The portions of meat were small, and we had to order an extra plate, all at regular prices. Itâs not highly recommended. After lunch, we visited the Fort Worth Outlet Mall. Most of the stores had very outdated styles and minimal discounts, so we didnât stay long. Our second stop was the đFort Worth Stockyards Station, but we arrived too late in the day. There wasnât much to see, and only two cows were left for photos. We had planned to take a quick walk and get some pictures with the cows, but by the time we came out, they were all âoff duty.â #DallasLife #AroundDallas #Dallas
