Dallas Dining | Dry-Aged Steak at Bar Ranch Steak
📍 Bar Ranch Steak Company 1016 E 15th St, Plano, TX 75074 I searched for dry-aged steak near my home last night and found this place! You guys have to try it! 🍴 Wagyu Beef: This was my first time trying dry-aged steak (45 days). I ordered the Australian Wagyu package, specifically the 24oz Tomahawk cut. I absolutely loved its flavor! The beef tasted incredibly rich and aromatic, with a slight hint of beefy sourness. The meat was marbled and fatty, but the dry-aging process made it anything but greasy. I really enjoyed the crispy, fragrant edges of the steak. 🍴 Appetizer: This was the most impressive part! Toast topped with goat cheese, a slice of Wagyu beef, some sweet sauce, a cherry, and some herbs (my description shows I didn't catch the exact names). The flavor was truly amazing—it instantly awakened my taste buds! The service was also excellent. The chef personally served the dishes and explained the ingredients and cooking methods for each one. The ambiance was great too—the place is small but very quiet. We spent about two hours dining, and by the time we left, there were only three tables occupied.
