Dallas Dining | Fresh-as-Can-Be Crawfish 🦞

After a busy week, Friday calls for a little self - indulgence. With the hot weather in Dallas, all I can think about is barbecue. I’ve been to Gao’s BBQ and Crab quite a few times, but today I want to specifically praise their crawfish 🦞. We ordered the crawfish because they had a buy - and - get - free deal. To our pleasant surprise, they were super delicious! We got three pounds of the Cajun - flavored crawfish, which came with corn 🌽 and potatoes 🥔. The crawfish were alive and very fresh, with firm meat and a great texture. The crawfish were also huge in size (check out photo 3). My (picky) friend says she won’t eat them if they’re not fresh, but these were perfect. The corn and potatoes were very flavorful, with a strong butter and garlic aroma. For larger groups, I recommend ordering five pounds, as the buy - and - get - free deal is really cost - effective.
