Dallas Dining | Tatsu | Omakase
đTatsu is probably one of the better Omakase places in Dallas. The ingredients are fresh, and the process of waiting for the chef to prepare and serve the sushi is calming and therapeutic. Unlike many other places where you have to make small talk with the chef, here you can just enjoy the quiet and focus on the food, which is very comfortable for introverts. đI was completely full after the whole set, but my husband said he was only about 80% full. If youâre still hungry, you can always order more Ă la carte. The average cost per person is around $185 + 18% tip, excluding drinks and Ă la carte items. âď¸The location is in the Deep Elm area of Dallas, which is a bit older and has more complex traffic conditions. For those of us who arenât hardcore sushi fans, Tatsu is still very delicious and worth a visit. Whether itâs worth a second visit is up to personal preference. âď¸Reservations are released on the 1st and 15th of every month on Tock, with two seatings available at 5:30pm and 7:45pm. Actually, itâs not too hard to book on weekdays. When I checked the website on the same day, there were still openings for the following days.
