Dallas Dining Exploration | Sister

🌞The restaurant is located in Lower Greenville. Self-parking is a bit challenging, but they offer complimentary valet service for a tip. Sister is an Italian and Mediterranean fusion restaurant, part of the same group as Charles in the Design District and Mister Charles on Knox Street. All dishes are meant to be shared. For two people, you can order 4-6 dishes without dessert. I highly recommend their pasta; it’s all delicious and easily ranks in my top 3 pasta experiences in Dallas. 🍜Ordered: Charred Octopus: It was tasty, but the portion of octopus was quite small, almost overshadowed by the bell peppers. Veal & Pork Meatballs: A signature dish, ordered by almost every table. The sauce had a bit of a spicy kick. 🦐Clam Vongole: My favorite dish of the night. The garlic flavor was incredibly rich, and the pasta was perfectly al dente, with a nice bite to it. Wild “Boaranaise”: Essentially a Bolognese, the meat sauce was very aromatic and flavorful. Both pasta dishes looked small but were surprisingly filling. 🐷Akaushi Hanger Steak: Disappointing. The meat had a strong gamey flavor and was not tender at all. Whipped Goat Cheese Cheesecake: Very strong goat cheese flavor, quite cheesy. I’m not a fan of strong cheese flavors, so it wasn’t for me. However, my partner loves all kinds of cheese, including blue cheese, and he enjoyed it. #DallasLife #DallasFood #DallasEats #DallasSurroundings #Dallas
