Dallas Family Fun: Zoo Edition
🔥In the DFW area, there are two notable zoos: Dallas Zoo and Fort Worth Zoo. Between the two, I’d recommend the Fort Worth Zoo. Fort Worth Zoo 💰Pros: More Animals and Better Layout: The zoo has a greater variety of animals, and the layout is well-organized, making it easy to navigate. Playground for Little Kids: The indoor playground is well-designed and offers a great experience for younger children. Petting Zoo: The petting zoo is spacious, with plenty of sheep for kids to pet and enjoy. Splash Zone: In the hot summer months, the splash zone is a great way to cool off and have fun all day. ‼️Cons: Limited Carousel Options: The carousel only has small horses, which might not be as exciting for some kids (a minor complaint). One-Way Train Ride: The zoo train is one-way, so you need to buy two tickets if you want to return. However, taking just one ride means missing out on some animal exhibits. Location: It might not be convenient for those living farther away. Cost: Half-Price Wednesdays: Adult tickets are $10, and parking is $5. 👇🏻Dallas Zoo I’ve only been once and haven’t returned since. The main reasons are fewer animal species and a less organized layout. The giraffe feeding area, which kids love, is a bit cramped. However, the carousel has more variety with small animal figures. The zoo also occasionally offers half-price promotions, which are listed on their website. #Dallas #DallasLife #DallasFun
