Dallas Family Fun | Finally Visited the Airplane Museum
🌳I had seen other moms recommend this museum online, and I finally got to visit it last Saturday! It's definitely worth the trip!! The museum isn't very large, but the kids had a great time exploring. ✨Most of the interactive exhibits for kids are captured in the photos. There are also historical artifacts on display, which we didn't focus on this time. There's a theater where you can watch a 15-minute film, which I highly recommend! The seats are just like those on an airplane—how exciting for the kids! They were captivated from the start and didn't seem to mind not understanding all the details, as the visuals of various planes and aerial footage were very engaging. My child even mentioned how much they enjoyed the "movie" after we left. I think any family with kids who are interested in airplanes should definitely check this place out! 🟡 Opening Hours: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (until 2:00 PM on Thursdays). The museum isn't very crowded, so the experience is quite pleasant! 🟢 When navigating to the C.R. Smith Museum, be aware that the GPS might direct you to an entrance that isn't accessible. Make sure to enter from the FAA BLVD entrance. 🔴 The indoor air conditioning is set quite low! If you're sensitive to the cold, bring a jacket. We had to leave early because we were too cold to continue enjoying ourselves. #Dallas #FamilyFunInDallas
