Dallas Food | Hai Xiaochu is Amazing! Delicious and Affordable!
🤫Today, while buying groceries, I discovered that Hai Xiaochu was open, so I decided to give it a try—and I fell in love with it! I ordered a Fatty Beef Hot Pot Set and a Supreme Hot Pot Set (the menu and discounts were on the rice balls; the restaurant's menu wasn't open today, so we ordered from the rice balls). The sets are super affordable! ✨The set includes a mini hot pot (with half a block of instant noodles) + a bowl of rice + a small side dish + a cup of herbal tea + self-selected dipping sauce, all for $19.99-$23.99. Especially, the portions are generous! There's plenty of fatty beef, and the quality is excellent! Even the rice is of high quality (personally, I have a lot of complaints about many Chinese restaurants using cheap rice). 🐍I couldn't finish everything and had to take some home. The side dishes are shown in the menu in Picture 8. It's the Supreme Hot Pot, and there are additional side dishes available. 🦌I think it's a great value because: There's a lot of meat, and it's of the same quality as Haidilao (the quality of fatty beef can vary greatly; some taste like frozen, bloody meat, so I think it's normal that high-quality ones are more expensive). 🐇When I compare it to dining at Haidilao, it's easy to spend $50-$60 per person, and even the special deals cost about the same, but you still can't have dinner. The soup base and ingredients are the same as Haidilao. ✨The key point is that the quality of the ingredients is great, especially the fatty beef and shrimp balls, which are the same as those at the Haidilao across the street (I wonder if they just go to the opposite side to restock when they run out). #DallasLife #DallasFood #DallasLiving #Dallas #DallasHaidilao
