Dallas Food | The Willful Texas BBQ That Only Opens Two Days a Week

Since moving to Texas, I've tried quite a few BBQ places here, including Hardeight, Heims, and Pecan Lodge. But I've always been intrigued by this willful Texas BBQ place—Cattleack Barbeque—that only opens two days a week, specifically at noon on Thursdays and Fridays. A friend invited me to try it out last Friday, and we headed over at 11:30 a.m. Already, there were more than 20 people in line. We ended up waiting nearly an hour before we could finally get our food.😵 2️⃣ Pork Rib ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I personally found the pork rib to be tastier than the beef rib. The beef rib was really, really salty—maybe it's more suited for those who prefer a stronger flavor. In contrast, the pork rib was more tender and succulent, likely because it's smaller and easier to cook through. 3️⃣ Whole Hog Pulled Pork ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This might be unique to their place! I was initially worried that the wild boar meat would be dry, but it wasn't at all. It had a similar texture to other places' brisket—soft and tender. The seasoning was excellent, and it was topped with some crispy skin, adding a unique texture. ✨Their meats are generally hard to go wrong with! The only exception was the Sausage, which didn't quite suit my taste, mainly because the most popular Spicy Texan was sold out. Everything else was super delicious! #DallasFood #TexasBBQ
