✨La Rue Doughnuts: 3011 Gulden Ln #117, Dallas, TX 75212 🥩I was really saddened to hear that Carte Blanche was closing. The owner decided to open a new doughnut shop. It opened this Thursday at 7 a.m., and I heard on Instagram that they sold out within an hour! Although I wasn't a big fan of doughnuts at Carte Blanche, I still wanted to try a few flavors from the menu. 😄I arrived at 9:15 a.m. (they open at 8 a.m.) and waited in line for about half an hour. By the time I got to the counter, only vanilla, butterscotch, lemon, chicken, and beef flavors were left. The chocolate, passionfruit, and strawberry shortcake flavors I wanted to try were all sold out! 💲We bought vanilla, lemon, and beef doughnuts. The sweet ones were indeed very fluffy and soft because they were freshly made and still warm! These doughnuts are definitely top-notch! However, I thought the beef flavor wasn't as good as those from other kolache shops (especially at $8 each, the taste didn't quite match the price and didn't impress me).
