After enjoying the incredibly affordable and delicious burger at The Yard, I took a leisurely stroll through the historic downtown streets, wandering in and out of vintage shops, furniture stores, and candy shops along the way. The area blends a charming '60sā'70s retro American vibe with a touch of modern flair ā„ļø A friend highly recommended Emporium Pies in the historic district, and with overwhelmingly positive reviews online, I boldly decided to buy three slices on my first visit šāand not one of them disappointed! My personal favorite was the "French Chocolate Pie" šāitās the most delicious chocolate pie Iāve ever tasted! If you love chocolate, I canāt recommend it enough! š« The signature apple pie was perfectly balancedātangy and sweet with a crisp texture š. The pecan pie was wonderfully fragrant but on the sweeter side (thanks to the caramel filling).
