Dallas Pelicana Chicken

😼While running errands in Carrollton, I decided to grab a bite to eat. 🐔Pelicana serves classic Korean-style fried chicken, which seems to be the same style as the one from "My Love from the Star." I ordered Crisp Wings and chose cheese and smoky hot as my dipping sauces. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The cheese sauce had a savory-sweet flavor, while the smoky hot sauce was quite spicy where it was more concentrated. There’s a buy-one-get-one-half-off deal going on until the end of the month. Personally, I think Pelicana’s crust is more delicious than BBQ’s, which is a bit heavier. 🔥I hadn’t tried Tea Top before, so I gave it a go. Even at 50% sweetness, it was still very sweet. I had to dilute it with a cup of milk at home to make it drinkable. The toppings in Three Q were pretty good, but the store was a bit chaotic with many small stalls. 💡Next door is Petit Four, which I always visit whenever I’m in Carrollton. This time, I packed a slice of cake (maybe I’ll write a review of the flavors I’ve tried haha) and had some shaved ice. Surprisingly, their shaved ice was quite good, with layers of toppings on top and in the middle, and it didn’t melt easily, maintaining its texture throughout.
