Dallas Restaurant Week: Most Cost-Effective French Restaurant
☄️This is a very established French restaurant, once voted the DFW favorite French restaurant, and it has participated in the Dallas Restaurant Week for several consecutive years. This year is no exception, and their menu is, as always, extremely cost-effective. 🌟We had the $29 lunch menu, which includes one appetizer and one main course: For the appetizer, we highly recommend the Terrine du Lavendou (House Duck and Pork Liver Terrine). It's a bit on the salty side, but it's perfect when spread on bread. The pickles that come with it are a pleasant surprise—they're very refreshing. 🍰For the main course, the lamb leg is a top choice. The medium-rare doneness is perfectly judged, and it comes with a skewer of chicken and sausage, packing a protein punch. The other main course we ordered was salmon, which turned out to be a "Wellington" fish. It was amazing to have salmon wrapped in puff pastry—it was a unique and delicious experience. Outside of the restaurant week menu, we also ordered escargots. They were large and plump, and among the best in terms of quality and texture of any we've had in Dallas. I remember having foie gras here a few years ago. The balance of sweet and savory was just right. Although it's on the dinner menu, you can order it during the day as well. 🎂The only downside might be the somewhat old-fashioned dining environment, and the majority of the patrons are of an older age group, but this doesn't affect the overall atmosphere. The restaurant week menu ends on 9/1, so don't miss out! 📍 19009 Preston Rd, Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75252 #HighlyRecommendLocalFood #FrenchCuisine #RestaurantShare #RestaurantRecommendation
