🥤I went to take some photos nearby and stumbled upon this Southeast Asian restaurant. I went there for the Hainanese chicken, but in the end, everything except the Hainanese chicken was delicious. The overall environment is decent, and the location is great, very close to the commercial area. 🍧Hainanese Chicken Rice (2/5): I wouldn’t recommend it unless you really crave it. The rice is steamed with turmeric powder and chicken broth, which makes it a bit hard. The turmeric flavor is quite strong. The chicken choice wasn’t great; it was frozen chicken leg meat with mushy skin and meat that falls apart easily. There was no ginger juice, so it didn’t meet the standards for a proper Hainanese chicken. 🌟Fried Rice (4/5): Surprisingly good! The rice noodles are smooth and elastic, with a strong wok hei (the unique flavor from stir-frying). The chicken was average, but the shrimp inside were very fresh and sweet, with clean shrimp lines. The bean sprouts and scallions were added right before serving, keeping their crisp texture. The dish seems to use a mix of curry sauce and curry powder, giving it a strong curry flavor with a hint of spiciness. I think using this recipe for fish balls would also be delicious. Highly recommended! ☑️Teppanyaki Tofu (4/5): Made with soft, fragrant egg tofu. There’s a thickened sauce in the middle, which is very hot when served, so be sure to let it cool down. The flavor is savory and fresh. The only downside is that the sauce is a bit too much. Coconut Toast: This is more of a dish to appease the kids. Since I didn’t try it myself, I can’t comment on the taste, but the kids finished it. Overall, I would definitely visit this place again. #HighlyRecommendLocalFood #DallasDining #DallasFood
